Testing a New Business Product

A small technology company is deciding whether to launch a new project management tool. The product team believes the tool could attract customers because it combines task tracking, reports, and team messaging in one platform. However, the finance team is concerned about the cost of development and customer support.

Before making a decision, the company studies the market. It finds that many competing tools already exist, but some customers are unhappy with complicated interfaces. The company believes that a simpler design could be an advantage if the price is competitive.
